The Inclusion Imperative: Towards Disability-inclusive and Accessible Urban Development

Urbanization is one of the most important global trends of the 21st century. It has the potential to contribute to the “re-design” of our world supporting the creation of sustainable and inclusive cities for all. The Global Network on Disability Inclusive and Accessible Urban Development (DIAUD) is a multi-stakeholder network that works to ensure that the New Urban Agenda and the UN Habitat III process incorporate the perspectives of persons with disabilities.
