Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for funding from DRF/DRAF. Please review our For Grantseekers page for guidance before you start your application.

As part of our efforts to improve the applicant experience, starting in 2021 we began offering two methods for submitting your grant proposal. Please read the following information about these two options so you can choose the submission method that works best for you. We welcome your feedback, which is especially critical as we implement new systems toward a more accessible and user-friendly application process. If you have any questions or comments, please email grants@disabilityrightsfund.org.

Option #1: Complete the online version of the application during the RFP period. Especially for returning grantees, applying online will reduce the amount of time and effort of applying. Go to the link provided, and log-in either by first creating an account for your organization (new applicants) or using the email address of record on your previous grant to log into your existing account (returning grantees – your Program officer can help you identify the email address we have on file). Once logged into your account, you will be prompted to complete (new applicants) or review and revise (returning grantees) the Organization Profile and then complete Application sections.

Below are links to our various guides to reference for using the online application portal:

The online portal will automatically save every five minutes – you can also manually save your work and resume later. If your internet access is limited or costly, we encourage you to draft your answers offline. The full online application can be downloaded in Word so that you can draft offline before inputting your responses online.

Option #2: Complete the Word version of the application (linked below) during the RFP period. Email the completed application, completed project budget template, and all other supporting documents to grants@disabilityrightsfund.org by the deadline listed in the application. Please include your country’s Program Officer on any emailed submissions.

Supporting Documents

Below is a list of supporting documents that you may be required to submit, depending on the specifics of your application. Both the Word and online versions of the application have instructions to clarify document requirements.
