Brief Summary:
The Director of Finance is responsible for directing and overseeing the organization’s financial, budgeting, and accounting systems. The Director will be a strategic thought partner, part of the leadership team, and report to the Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate will be an active manager and lead and develop an internal team.
The Director prepares and presents finalized financial reports, forecasts, and annual budgets. They manage the financial execution of contracts and ensure financial controls, policies, and processes are aligned with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and any grant or contractual requirements. The Director is responsible for ensuring external audits and other reporting are completed. They work closely with senior staff across the organization and supervise two staff members and consultants.
