Gender and Disability Resources

During DRF/DRAF’s COSP14 Side Event, Moving the Needle on Gender and Disability, we shared the following resources:

  1. DRF Gender Guidelines: DRF’s gender guidelines are an expression of our commitment to apply a gender lens to our work as well as to learn more about the issues facing women and girls with disabilities from more marginalized communities and those with non-majority identities and sexualities (such as ethnic minorities, refugees, or LGBTQI persons), so that we can best support all persons with disabilities. 2. DRF’s Donor Guidelines on funding the rights of women with disabilities: This brief explores funding at the intersection of women’s rights and disability rights and offers steps donors can take to ensure that their grantmaking is more inclusive of women with disabilities and to support this emerging movement.  Click here for link
