DRF at the 2025 Global Disability Summit
Join our conversation on disability rights and the care and support economy, focusing on the often-overlooked role of persons with disabilities—especially women—as both recipients and providers of care. While discussions on care systems often center on caregivers, this event will highlight the importance of inclusive policies that uphold the rights and autonomy of people with disabilities.
We will hear firsthand from women with disabilities about their lived experiences and explore diverse perspectives on care and support from German, European, and international speakers. The event will conclude with an open discussion engaging all participants.
When: Tuesday, April 1. We will have refreshments at 6:30 pm with the event beginning at 7 pm. Drinks and food will also be offered after the event finishes at 8 pm.

2. Time to Act: Achieving Health Equity for Women with Disabilities
Join this networking event co-hosted by the Missing Billion Initiative, Women Enabled International, the Disability Rights Fund and the World Health Summit.
This event will serve as the launch of a landmark report on the state of health for women with disabilities, bringing together disability inclusion leaders, global public health stakeholders, and inclusive health advocates. It will include a presentation of the key findings from the report and will be followed by a networking reception where refreshments will be served. Live captions will be provided for the presentation of the report.
